Trainee track

Program details

The PATMDTA Trainee Track is a dedicated cohort experience for senior residents and fellows at Northwell Health interested in a career in medical education. Program directors must nominate residents and fellows beginning in late spring 2026.

Any interested Trainee should contact their Program Director to express their interest / desire to be nominated. Eligibility requirements are listed below.

Trainee Track Eligibility

  1. Associated with Northwell Health for at least one year
  2. Currently in good standing
  3. Exhibit interest or proficiency in one or more of the following six educational activities:
    • teaching
    • curriculum development
    • advising & mentoring
    • education & leadership administration
    • learner assessment
    • scholarly research and writing
