AHPBA Webinar – Fireside Chat Current Dilemmas in Pancreatic NETs Care and NETs Liver Metastases

Dr. Ramanathan Seshadri shares his insights and perspectives on evolving challenges in managing pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) and neuroendocrine liver metastasis.

Dr. Ramanathan M. Seshadri, MD, a hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgeon in the Division of Surgical Oncology at Nuvance Health, participated in a panel discussion addressing real‑world challenges in the management of neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).

Drawing on his surgical oncology expertise, Dr. Seshadri contributed to the discussion by posing questions that explored complex and evolving aspects of NET care, including expectations around disease‑free status after surgery for metastatic disease, defining tumor burden in liver metastases, and recurrence following ablation compared with hepatocellular carcinoma. His questions prompted deeper discussion among fellow panelists, including Dr. Ganji and Dr. Sha, on areas where evidence continues to evolve.
